Harman is a resin artist an architect.
Harman seeks to define a new type of aesthetic with resin.
She works with resin as a material with endless interpretation by exploring visual effects of resin with each and every material (earth/waste) it can encase, adding to her concept of abstractions. She works with amorphous and meandering shapes which allow her to break free the structure of set norms and glide into her own inchoate mould of life.
Her practice finds it focal point in manipulation of resin, which plays a critical role in the material translation of her vision. This medium allows her to speculate and cast it into curvilinear pieces and play with the new formations as opposed to her journey as an architect where from the draft to translation of designed space/edifice is primarily in 90 degrees. Her works acts as facilitator (amongst other materials) to depict the absence of man-made curves. Freeing them from geometry, looking for non-existent influence.
