Dvaar has been, primarily, a candid attempt to bridge the gap between the local and the contemporary art culture. The fertile ground of art is what helps any culture to thrive and with this show, we aim to make the viewers experience that impact first-hand. The exhibition will feature works by a dozen different artists of whom some are from Surat and some from the rest of the country. This exhibit will also prove to be an effective platform for young artists to showcase their potential to a new audience.
The program is earnestly undertaken by Priyanshi Saxena, founder of IAM along with Khushboo Shah, founder of Hissa. Since both of the benefactors share the common goal of promoting art in 2-tier cities, this project proves to be a fitting step forward.
