Jhanvi Patel

Jhanvi Patel (b.1998, Surat, Gujarat, India) completed her BFA in Painting from Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat, in 2020 and her MVA in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Maharaja Sayajirao University, Vadodara in 2022. Her work has been exhibited in a couple of group shows across India including at Kala Pratisthan, in 2019, Priyasri Art Gallery in 2022, Anant Art Gallery in 2022, and Ether Project in 2022. She has also been the recipient of Best Printmaker of the Year, Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat, 2019.

She is concerned with a need to search for answers to questions that might appear mundane and rhetorical. Her inquiry stems from the general idea of perception, a perception that is defined by us, and that gets associated with anything, be it an object, a place, a building, or even an idea.
